Meet Christopher Ricker

Dr. Christopher Ricker, DMD, MSD, (Periodontist) originally from Houston, TX, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Brigham Young University. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree magna cum laude from the Medical University of South Carolina and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. His postdoctoral training began with a rigorous General Practice Residency at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina, where he gained extensive clinical and surgical experience treating medically complex patients in both hospital and outpatient settings.

Before beginning his specialty training, Dr. Ricker practiced general dentistry in Davidson, NC with a focus on cosmetic rehabilitation and implant dentistry. He served as a clinical mentor and pursued advanced continuing education in digital smile design, regenerative therapies, and surgical techniques.

As a periodontics resident at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Ricker refined his expertise in implant dentistry, tissue regeneration, and advanced hard and soft tissue surgical procedures.

Dr. Ricker is a recognized leader in periodontal and implant surgery as well as advanced bone grafting, with his calm, approachable chairside manner that patients immediately trust. He specializes in complex full-mouth reconstruction, remote anchorage implants, and esthetic periodontics. His patients appreciate his down-to-earth personality just as much as his surgical results.
